Content: On April 5,2022, I purchased a model BL3000 light unit for use on my road bike. Great unit and I was impressed. Earlier this past week, the bracket which holds the light broke off from the handlebar mount during a ride. Can the handlebar mount bracket be replaced? Having had experience with materials failure investigations, It appears that the plastic component and screw are inadequate for the weight of the light when subjected to the vibrations encountered on rough pavement. A redesign with a sturdier mount needs to be considered by your designers. photos can be supplied on request.
